There's no need to dress in drabness or sloppiness just because you're going to a business casual event. There's nothing more boring than seeing someone in a business casual outfit. Therefore, we will demonstrate how to dress sustainably while still looking chic in a business casual setting.

Business Casual Looks

Look 1:

Put on a black oversized blazer, a black turtleneck (we went with a cut-out), some mom jeans, and some heels. This outfit would still look great with flats or even sneakers instead of stilettos. You can pair this outfit with flats, loafers, chunky pumps, or high heels.

Look 2:

Women can achieve a casual yet professional look by switching to black jeans, a black sweater or t-shirt, and white sneakers. If sneakers are too relaxed for your business casual attire, you can always switch them out for loafers, flats, or booties. If it makes you feel more comfortable, you can treat this outfit like a uniform and wear it for years to come.

Look 3:

You should try on the charcoal grey oversized blazer instead of the black one. In the event that stir-up leggings are not your thing, you can achieve the same look by pairing some mules with skinny jeans or regular leggings and carrying a black bag.

Look 4:

Let's put together a shirt dress by layering an oversized heather grey blazer (or the same charcoal grey blazer) over a sweater vest and an oversized white button-down shirt. Invest in a sweater vest in your size to help tame that baggy shirt. What this means is that the sweater vest can help to tone down the volume of the blousy top.

Look 5:

Next, we'll talk about coats. At 55 degrees Fahrenheit, a raincoat is the ideal outerwear choice for dreary autumn days. Get her to look by wearing a black sweater, mom jeans, and stiletto sandals. If you want to keep the look business casual, women should wear this with stiletto heels (not sandals), chunky heels, loafers, flats, or mules. We're not huge fans of the pleats on her mom's jeans. Mom jeans, meanwhile, are a trend that has taken off in Europe but has yet to gain traction in the United States, so you might be wondering what they are. Mom's jeans are loose-fitting all the way down the leg and fitted at the top, like regular pants. This denim style may not be for you if you prefer more flexible denim or if you have a fuller figure.
